Butterfly Effects in Sacramento, CA is seeking a part-time Child Interventionist/Behavior Technician to support children with autism under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on developing communication, social skills, and self-care through ABA-based plans.

You will work 12-20 hours weekly, earn $24-$28 per hour, and have opportunities for education and training to become a Registered Behavior Technician or pursue BCBA with our financial support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred or obtainable.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a car.
• Own tablet or laptop for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes.
• Participates in ongoing training programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
