Job summary

San Diego Center for Children in California seeks a Program Therapist to deliver direct therapeutic services to children and their families in schools, homes, or offices, coordinating with the attending psychiatrist for medication management and aligning with evidence-based Wraparound practices.

You will collaborate with the United Women of East Africa Support Team, engage with schools via IEPs, and participate in weekly staff meetings and supervision to ensure quality care and proper

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Amharic, Somali, Swahili, and/or Tigrinya.
• Master's degree (M.A) in social work, psychology, education or related health services or equivalent.
• Registered Associate or Intern BBS number required.
• Demonstrated experience in work with children, teenagers, and families.
• Available to provide early evening appointments, at least 2x per week.
• Valid Clinical License or Registration within the State of California.
• Valid California Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapeutic services to children and families.
• Collaborate with attending psychiatrist for medication management and with school/IEP teams.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and data entry per program standards.
• Meet monthly productivity targets and participate in supervision and training.
