Job summary

San Diego Center for Children seeks a Bilingual Parent Partner/Peer Support Specialist I to provide therapeutic services and support to family members and/or caregivers in wraparound teams and individual meetings; bilingual collaboration with all wraparound team members and community partners. Average caseload of 10-12 families.

The role includes education, crisis intervention, and care coordination in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, advocacy, crisis intervention, case management, and other therapeutic services in a community-based setting.
• Support families within wraparound teams and coordinate with community partners.
• Maintain accurate case records per Medi-Cal and SDCC policies.
• Translate documents from English to Spanish as needed and engage Spanish-speaking families.
