Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks a bilingual Spanish-speaking chaplain to provide spiritual care and counseling to employees and their families at client sites. The role involves regular site visits, confidential discussions, and coordinating supportive resources in a faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, interfaith setting with diverse beliefs.
• Strong listening, interpersonal and presentation skills for community outreach.
• Demonstrates empathy, discretion and professional boundaries with employees and families.
• Commitment to Christian ministry values and to MCHAPs ministry objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a messenger of faith and purpose within client worksites.
• Make regular visits to company worksites to build trust and relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral conversations and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and provide post-termination support.
• Support employee orientation explaining Employee Care Service and Chaplain Team role.
• Respond to duties requested by executive leadership within the agreement terms.
