CJE SeniorLife in Chicago is seeking a bilingual HCS Care Manager to assess needs, coordinate resources, and connect Holocaust survivors with supportive services across office, home, and remote settings. This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree and fluency in English and Russian, with a 55k–75k salary depending on level.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, local travel, and opportunities to support program planning, supervision, and survivor-focused services within a compassionate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, social services, psychology or related field is required.
• Fluency in English and Russian is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, are required.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Sensitive interpersonal and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a client caseload and conducts regular assessments across office, home, and remote settings.
• Determines eligibility for financial assistance and other services.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner.
• Provides ongoing case management, linkage, and support services.
• Participates in supervision, case consultation, and team meetings.
• May provide counseling or co-facilitate survivor groups as needed.
• May lead or participate in trainings and community education; supports program planning.
