Job summary

Selfhelp is seeking a seasoned program administrator to manage the Holocaust Survivor Program's daily operations, staff, and budget in New York. The role includes case management, interdepartmental collaboration, and grant reporting to ensure high-quality services to clients.

Required: MSW or related degree with LMSW preferred, 3-5 years in social services, supervisory experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Hybrid work arrangement after probation.

Qualifications

• MSW or related degree. LMSW preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in social services, supervisory experience; management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with basic knowledge of client database systems; general facility with technology.
• Strong problem solving, multi-tasking, and sound judgment abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages day-to-day operations of the Holocaust Survivor Program and oversees department budget.
• Supervises staff, develops training, and ensures services are delivered to clients and community.
• Provides case management services, including assessments, referrals, and advocacy.
• Organizes staff meetings, prepares monthly statistical reports, and supports grant reporting.
• Represents the organization with funders and at community meetings; ensures compliance with regulations.
• Hybrid schedule after probation; participates in ongoing trainings and interdepartmental collaboration.
