Job summary

The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Human Services Case Manager (Bilingual Spanish Preferred). This permanent full-time role helps Aging and People with Disabilities connect with programs and services through careful case management and advocacy.

Spanish language preference is noted with a 5% differential testing requirement. Applicants must meet minimum degree/experience requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral or Social Science or closely related field.
• OR Bachelor's in any field with 1 year of human services related experience.
• OR Associate’s in Behavioral/Social Science with 2 years of related experience.
• OR 3 years of human services related experience.

Responsibilities

• Match community needs with federal, state, and local programs via case management.
• Screen applicants for long term community-based care and nursing homes.
• Assess eligibility, redetermine needs, and adjust benefits and services.
• Advocate for clients and Aging and People with Disabilities in the community.
