Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Career Specialist to build one-on-one relationships, assess needs, provide career coaching, and create individualized employment plans that foster long-term success.

You will manage case notes, support job retention and progression, and lead workshops while coordinating services with community partners to help participants reach H2/H3 opportunities and sustainable employment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, case management, or similar roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Responsibilities

• Build professional one-on-one relationships with clients to aid in employment; provide assessment, coordination, career coaching, and individualized plans.
• Provide case management and follow-up to support retention, progression, and long-term goals.
• Conduct new participant orientation to career pathways and in-demand industries; align with H2/H3 opportunities.
• Document activities in case notes; track progression and outcomes per contract and funding agency requirements.
• Lead and support professional development workshops on job readiness and high-demand occupations.
• Coordinate introductory and weekly workshops; manage placement data and program grants per allocation targets.
