Job summary

DARCARS of Frederick is hiring Car Sales Representatives to join our team. This non-supervisory, commission-based role involves selling new and used vehicles and delivering exceptional customer service both in person and virtually.

Preferred bilingual English/Spanish candidates; Spanish and Chinese language skills are a plus. You’ll work with a team including Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, and Finance, with opportunities for internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Spanish and Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Ability to use video tools to assist customers.
• Ability to read and understand policies and instructions.
• Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and perform duties.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to their needs.
• Describe vehicle operations and features to match customer requirements.
• Follow test drive procedures and obtain identification.
• Suggest optional equipment and warranties for purchase.
• Compute and quote sales price accurately.
• Work with the finance team to obtain financing when needed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of brands, products, and pricing.
• Develop and maintain a prospect and follow-up system.
• Participate in brand and DARCARS training.
