Job summary

DARCARS Honda of Bowie is seeking a Car Sales Representative to join our team. This non-supervisory, commission-based role focuses on selling new and used vehicles, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving sales objectives.

You will engage with customers in person and virtually, collaborating with Sales Consultants, Managers, and the General Manager. Qualifications include strong communication, bilingual abilities (Spanish/Chinese a plus), a commitment to customer service, and

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
• Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus!
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Comfortable using video tools (FaceTime, etc.) to assist customers
• Speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers
• Previous sales experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform normal job functions
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be a team player
• Flexible schedule, evenings and weekends
• Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable safe driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Pass pre-employment background screen

Responsibilities

• Conducts business in a professional and ethical manner
• Greets customers with a welcoming attitude and listens to their needs
• Describes operations and features of vehicles matching customer’s needs in person or virtually
• Follows test drive procedures and obtains correct identification
• Suggests optional equipment, features, warranties for purchase
• Compute and quote sales price accurately
• Works with finance team to obtain financing as needed
• Completes all necessary paperwork and arranges delivery/registration of the vehicle
