East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) invites applications for the Resident Services & Wellness Coordinator role at its East Bay locations in California. The position is onsite, full-time, and involves serving a large Chinese-speaking resident population with Cantonese/Mandarin language support to promote wellbeing and stability.

Starting pay ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, DOE, with EBALDC offering medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required.
• Experience in human services, public health, or community-based work is valued.
• Experience working with diverse communities; seniors or affordable housing preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one resident support, referrals, and service coordination.
• Connect residents to healthcare, food access, financial assistance, and public benefits.
• Plan and lead community programs, workshops, and engagement activities.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives (health education, fitness, aging support).
• Track participation, maintain documentation, and support reporting.
• Partner with Property Management and community providers.
