Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs to find possible new product offerings.
• Negotiate prices and consider profitability before placing orders.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and partners.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Process and create purchase orders in the system.
• Strategize with management to develop promotional product lines.
• Partner with vendors for year-round supply at budget-friendly prices.
• Plan pricing strategies to reach agreed supplier pricing.
• Establish reliable lines of contact with management as orders are fulfilled.
• Anticipate supply shortages and devise inventory solutions.
• Publish inventory and ordering reports for upper management.
• Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure deliveries satisfy purchase orders.
• Make purchase decisions in line with company procedures and food safety plan.
• Collaborate with department managers to clarify requisitions and refine future orders.
