Qualifikationen

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent AND meets WIC Policy 716 and USDA program requirements.
• Must pass written and oral Spanish fluency assessments.
• Must pass a background check post offer.
• Work or volunteer experiences related to public services, customer support, or peer support may be considered toward salary placement.

Aufgaben

• Provide parent-to-parent breastfeeding support virtually and face-to-face.
• Refer participants to the Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Coordinator/IBCLC or other staff.
• Support participants outside usual clinic hours and at multiple WIC sites as needed.
