Job summary

Oriental in Trujillo Alto (PR) seeks an Associate, Sales & Services at the Branch to deliver excellent customer service and identify client financial needs. The role focuses on presenting alternatives and cross-selling bank products, while building and expanding relationships with customers.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields and at least 2 years of retail/sales experience, with bilingual English/Spanish being highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields required.
• Two years of retail/sales experience required; financial services desirable.
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish (verbal and written) highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent consulting, sales, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive and dynamic customer service.
• Receives bank visitors, provides information, and directs them to appropriate staff as necessary.
• Responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding our products and services. Provide solutions on accounts disputes and other service activities.
• Take ownership of every customer issue to solve it and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Listens to the customer’s needs and matches those needs to the bank’s products and services resulting in new products and/or referrals to strengthen the relationship.
• Generates new accounts, loans and other products as defined and instructed to assist in meeting customers’ needs and branch profitability goals.
• Cross sells bank products and services.
• Receives customers’ transactions and process in system, complying with bank instructions, policies, and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with the bank policy and regulations in every account or transaction performed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
