Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union in Seguin, TX is hiring a Branch Member Service Representative to blend teller and personal banking duties. The role starts at $20.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour possible after completing RBFCU's bilingual certification.

You will greet members, process transactions across in-person, drive-thru, video, and phone channels, review deposits for fraud, and educate on RBFCU products to improve financial well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of work experience in a financial institution, customer service or sales preferred.
• Attendance and promptness are important; must be able to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule.
• Must be able to cover staffing at any location within the region if needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems and make timely decisions; follow written or oral instructions.
• Proficient in using PC, software and office equipment.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Good vision, hearing and manual dexterity; clear speech.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, professional, courteous service to members and prospective members.
• Process a variety of transactions in person, video conference, drive-thru, and telephonic channels.
• Maintain control of cash and negotiable instruments per policies and laws.
• Engage members through needs-based conversations and educate on products and services.
• Support RBFCU sales culture and branch standards.
• Assist in calls for the Member Service Center as needed.
• Assess deposits for potential fraud and impersonation risk.
• Assist with opening, updating, and closing accounts; follow RBFCU agreements.
• Prepare teller reports and guide members to designated areas.
• Observe safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
