Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous business development experience.
• 3+ years of outside direct sales with strategy, consultative selling, cold calls, presentations and closing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Develop account sales plans/approaches with Manager on a minimum of 30 target accounts.
• Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business; this may include sales calls, presentations, proposals, and follow-up activity.
• Conduct prospect, active and inactive account sales calls independently and with staff as prioritized.
• Lead and primary sales resource on identified target accounts; create the account plan.
• Partner with branch office and Headquarters staff to enhance product knowledge and close sales.
• Support driving sales closure to shorten the sales cycle and meet goals.
• Analyze prospect requirements to apply Company products/services to needs.
• Establish contacts in the business community and participate in local networking events.
• Record all business and sales activity in Company database and complete reports.
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries and needs.
• All other duties to ensure operations run smoothly.
