Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a Business Office Representative for Florida PACE Centers in Miami. The role handles incoming claims inquiries, provides payment details (EOP), and responds to emails from Vendors and Providers.

You will open mail, mail checks, verify provider accounts, and support billing processes. Qualifications include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 2+ years in medical field customer service, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in customer services in the medical field.
• Must have experience handling a high call volume.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is essential.

Responsibilities

• Answering Phones and Emails: Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers and vendors, providing prompt and courteous assistance.
• Billing and Invoicing Support: Generate provider payment details (EOP) and provide to vendor/provider requesting.
• Reach out to Providers and Vendors to verify account information.
• Manage and file paperwork related to client care, billing, and compliance including opening and distributing incoming mail.
• Complete scanning of documents to electronic sources.
• Maintaining Client Records: Update and maintain accurate client records in the organization’s database.
• Attends bi-weekly meetings to verify status on upcoming tasks and projects.
• Additional tasks as assigned
