Butterfly Effects in Marietta, GA, seeks dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to help children with autism improve communication, social skills, and self-care under the direction of a BCBA.

This part-time role offers 15-20 hours weekly, typically 2:30-6:30pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for education and growth toward RBT/BCBA credentials.

Must be bilingual (English/Spanish), possess a high school diploma, and have a tablet or laptop for sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviours.
• Apply behavioural principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in our online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
• Makes every effort to maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.

What Do You Bring to the Role?

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.

What Would You Be Doing?

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviours.
• Apply behavioural principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behaviour analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
