Job summary

Butterfly Effects in-home ABA services seeks dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to help children with autism improve communication, social interaction, and self-care under BCBA supervision.

This part-time role offers 12–20 hours per week with compensation based on experience and certifications, plus opportunities for education and growth within the BCBA pathway.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Interest in ongoing development.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Must have a Tablet or Laptop to use during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observe, record, and report client progress and behavior daily.
• Manage challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions.
• Assist clients to acquire academic or life skills.
• Communicate professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Be an active member of the treatment team.
• Complete daily paperwork and data notes in the online database.
• Participate in continuous training to increase skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
