Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking compassionate caregivers to support children with autism in home and clinic settings. You will use ABA principles to help children develop real-life skills and record progress data.

This role emphasizes hands-on interaction and safety in daily activities. Required 6+ months of experience with children or individuals with special needs, and bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
• Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
• Willing to travel to client homes
• Reliable transportation
• Proficiency with basic office software and data collection tools

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills and daily living tasks
• Be active—get up and down off the floor and move quickly
• Make a difference in the life of a child
