Job summary

ABS Kids is hiring Behavior Technicians in California (Murrieta) to support children with autism using ABA therapy and play-based activities. Flexible, part-time shifts are available for entry-level to experienced RBTs.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.50 per hour with bilingual premium pay and a $1,000 bonus for current RBTs. On-the-job training is provided, plus mileage reimbursement, 401(k) matching, and PTO accrual.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
• Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Comfortable with data collection software and basic office software
• Calm, patient, and energetic demeanor

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child through ABA therapy and play-based learning
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living and social-emotional skills
• Move up and down from the floor and be able to move quickly as needed
