Job summary

ABS Kids in California seeks entry-level Behavior Technicians and experienced RBTs for part-time roles supporting children with autism. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates earn premium pay per matched sessions. On-the-job training is provided, with aid for RBT certification.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus benefits such as 401(k) match, paid time off, and mileage reimbursement. Flexible afternoon/evening shifts are available to fit family and school schedules.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids.
• Calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software.
• Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
