Job summary

ABS Kids in Fontana, CA is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism using ABA therapy, play-based learning, and data collection. A bilingual English/Spanish ability is strongly preferred, with a $1.00/hour premium for bilingual sessions.

Current RBTs may receive a $1,000 bonus; on‑the‑job training is provided, and shifts run Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, 9:00am–6:00pm, 12:00pm–7:00pm, or 3:00pm–7:00pm. No experience? No problem—learn on the job.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• A heart for helping kids.
• Calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child using play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
