Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, requiring patience, teamwork, and physical stamina; training provided.

The role includes lifting up to 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, and a path to Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test if not current.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while addressing challenging behaviors.
