Job summary

Horizon Distributors, Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA, a Horizon division of POOLCORP, is seeking a Bilingual Business Development Representative.

This on-site role focuses on building and managing a local B2B customer base, driving sales, and delivering solutions in irrigation, landscaping, and outdoor living products. The candidate will have 2+ years of wholesale B2B sales experience, strong cold calling and closing skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in B2B sales in a wholesale distribution environment with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent cold call, negotiation, persuasion and closing skills.
• Strong product knowledge in irrigation, landscaping, or outdoor living products.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate clearly in person and in writing.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and willingness to travel within a designated area.

Responsibilities

• Achieves assigned sales, gross margin and customer goals.
• Cultivates relationships with landscape contractors, golf courses, and other clients to expand market share.
• Provides product education, quotes and recommendations to customers.
• Prospects for new business and maintains an active pipeline of qualified leads.
• Collaborates with team to meet evolving customer needs and deliver on promises.
• Manages data input, quotes, orders, and follow-up in a timely manner.
