Columbia Gorge Motors in The Dalles, OR is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Service Advisor to coordinate customer services and repairs, verify warranty coverage, and write repair orders with clear estimates.

You will greet customers, document problems, communicate turnaround times, walk customers through completed work, and ensure outstanding service while maintaining paperwork accuracy and strong communication with technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive industry and parts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with technicians, customers and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly in person and on the phone.
• Listen to problems and prepare estimates and invoices.
• Perform vehicle walk-around with customer present.
• Write repair order descriptions to locate problems.
• Communicate promised times to customers.
• Explain completed work and 120-point inspection.
• Collect payment from customers.
• Liaise between customers, manufacturer reps and technicians.
• Track repair orders and parts requests.
• Follow up with customers timely.
• Ensure timely completion of repair orders.
• Schedule appointments and answer questions.
• Maintain manufacturer certifications as required.
