Job summary

Sheehy Toyota of Laurel is seeking motivated Sales Consultants to join our team and build lifelong customer relationships in the automotive industry. We welcomes Experienced Sales Consultants and Bilingual Sales Consultants (English/Spanish) who can deliver outstanding service while closing deals.

Our ideal candidate has at least one year of sales experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and a professional, coachable attitude.

Qualifications

• Experienced in sales in any industry - one year or more preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish for bilingual positions with fluency.
• Previous automotive sales experience is preferred.
• Have a coachable, positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance.
• Outgoing 'people person' passionate about sales and helping clientele.
• Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentage.
• Be ambitious, energetic, goal-oriented and motivated to succeed.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and follow-up skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the vehicles and accessories.
• Lead customers through proven selling steps that close deals.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring the customer understands the product features, warranty, and paperwork to lay the foundation for customer loyalty.
• Maintain customer information and contacts in CRM.
• Follow-up with existing customers to build relationships that encourage repeat and referral business.
• Develop new business through focused personal marketing efforts through direct mail, networking affiliations, and telemarketing.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pricing and specifications of competitive vehicles to provide clients with informative comparisons.
