Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Kansas is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in completing tasks.

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. The role includes greeting customers, assisting with parts selection, processing transactions, handling exchanges, updating displays, and performing store operations after training. Occasional deliveries may be required depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs and related selling.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists for professional customers as needed.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by phone and in person.
• Process exchanges and returns according to company policy.
• Maintain cash drawer and handle transactions securely.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Support daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves.
• Perform store operations and tests after training, including occasional deliveries.
