O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high level service to retail and installer customers, assist store management, and support daily operations. The role emphasizes greeting customers, looking up parts, processing transactions, returns, and resolving complaints, with opportunities to work on in-store services and occasional deliveries.

The position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of automotive parts, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist management and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Answer store calls, look up parts, quote prices, and recommend related items.
• Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Handle exchanges and returns per company policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock updates, planograms, and daily image maker tasks.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
