O'Reilly Auto Parts in Independence, IA is hiring a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in daily tasks.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, handle cash and card payments, process returns, and perform select in-store services after training. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to help serve a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Process cash, checks, and credit transactions accurately.
• Handle exchanges/returns per policy.
• Address customer complaints professionally.
• Assist with stock, planograms, and shelf maintenance.
• Perform in-store services after training (wipers, batteries, codes).
• Occasionally drive deliveries when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
