Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high‑level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management in daily tasks. This role rewards bilingual candidates and emphasizes customer satisfaction and accurate transactions.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, processing exchanges/returns, stocking shelves, and answering store calls per policy. Occasional delivery driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges and returns according to policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock updates, fronting, facing, and shelf replenishment.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock adjustments and cycle counts.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
