Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Medford, OR is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high level service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management and engage in various daily operations, including customer inquiries, sales, inventory, and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store phone calls per policy, look up parts, quote prices, and upsell Premium and related items.
• Maintain cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, cleaning, etc.
• Perform daily tasks: returns processing, stock adjustments, inventory counts.
• Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (where allowed): install wipers, test batteries, diagnose issues, etc.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
