Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and to assume shift management duties when managers are absent. You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage in-store programs, and handle transfers and returns with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently according to procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed efficiently, refunds issued accurately, and merchandise staged properly.
• Ensure merchandise invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and ensure merchandising tasks are completed.
• Monitor schedule adherence and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
