O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to customers, and handle COD transactions. The role includes using handheld devices for deliveries, vehicle inspections, and maintaining secure cash and equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to store management.
• Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy and assist with additional duties as needed.
