Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles, delivering parts to professional customers. You will handle COD deliveries, collect payments, and occasionally assist customers at the register.

Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include operating vehicles, using handheld devices for deliveries, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring security of assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Process deliveries and capture customer signatures using handheld devices.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped and vehicles are locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy.
• Assist customers, cashier, and merchandising as needed.
