Job summary

Rainey Property Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to work with the Property Manager to oversee daily operations, leasing, maintenance requests, and resident relations. Bilingual Spanish & English is required, ensuring clear communication with residents and staff.

The role supports maintaining safe, affordable housing and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous property management or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in Affordable Housing Tax Credit/ LIHTC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing and renewals to meet occupancy and retention goals.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions.
• Monitor and track property performance and report issues to the Property Manager.
• Handle resident inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of property activities, including leases, payments, and maintenance.
