Legrand is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the second shift on our Focal Point team in Chicago, IL. The bilingual English/Spanish candidate will supervise the assembly production team, coordinate with plant management, and drive safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and employee development, with a focus on cross-training, process improvement, and adherence to schedules while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience managing teams.
• 2-year degree in engineering/operations or related field; higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs activities of the assembly department to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity goals.
• Oversees material flow and work order management for efficient resource use.
• Maintains a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and coaching staff.
• Leads continuous improvement and implements lean practices across the department.
• Provides training and cross-training to build a skilled, flexible workforce.
