Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a proactive Assembly Lead for the weekend day shift (Sat–Mon, 5:00am–5:00pm) to oversee kit inspection and assembly operations.

You will guide and train operators, ensure SPI standards, and drive safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, prior lead experience in manufacturing, and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience leading a manufacturing team or shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Results‑oriented with adaptability to change.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kit inspection and assembly operations on weekend day shift.
• Guide and support assembly operators, ensuring compliance with SPI standards.
• Track operator quality performance and oversee rework procedures.
• Identify and resolve safety, quality, and production issues.
• Conduct operator training sessions based on SPI documentation.
• Provide daily guidance and direction to department team members.
• Monitor incoming expedites and adjust work assignments as needed.
• Communicate quality concerns to Assembly Supervisor, Manager and Quality.
• Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies for team members.
• Participate in fixture testing and approval processes.
• Prepare weekly timecards for payroll; edit time entries in Paylocity.
• Suggest improvements to production methods and equipment usage.
