Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking an experienced attorney to represent individuals harmed by asbestos exposure and related diseases. You will conduct bilingual client consultations and witness interviews, and manage asbestos matters from intake to deposition.

The role requires 2–5 years of litigation or deposition experience, Spanish fluency, and strong writing skills. Expect extensive travel across the United States; competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state.
• Missouri or Illinois Bar admission preferred.
• Must reside in Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana, California, New York, or Washington, D.C.
• 2-5 years of litigation, personal injury, asbestos litigation, or deposition experience.
• Fluency in Spanish required.
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills.
• Strong deposition and client-interview skills preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Represent individuals injured by asbestos and related diseases.
• Conduct client consultations and witness interviews in English and Spanish.
• Prepare asbestos litigation from intake through deposition.
• Prepare for and conduct fact-witness depositions.
• Review Social Security, medical, military, employment, and union records.
• Draft deposition summaries and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation teams.
• Travel about 80% across the U.S. to meet clients and witnesses.
• Provide compassionate, professional representation to seriously ill clients and families.
