Direct Counsel seeks two experienced bilingual Spanish Litigation Contract Attorneys to support a top international AmLaw 10 firm in Los Angeles. Candidates will have 3–7 years of substantive litigation experience with fluency in Spanish and English.

The role involves analyzing bilingual case materials, preparing briefs and summaries, identifying key issues, and providing insights to the litigation team. Office four days a week with Fridays remote; duration approx. 3–6 months, possible extension.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English, including the ability to review, analyze, and summarize complex legal materials in both languages.
• Active bar admission in California.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze Spanish- and English-language case materials.
• Prepare case briefs, summaries, timelines, and written analyses.
• Identify key facts, legal issues, risks, and potential case themes.
• Provide substantive insights and recommendations to the litigation team.
• Analyze pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and other case-related documents.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• Assist with case strategy and preparation.
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to attorneys and other team members.
• Collaborate with a sophisticated litigation team in a fast-paced environment.
