Job summary

The Lehigh County Area Agency on Aging, part of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, seeks a Bilingual Aging Case Aide 2 to assist Spanish-speaking seniors and families with referrals and benefit determination. You will guide clients to community programs and prepare flyers using Microsoft Office.

This full-time position requires Spanish reading/writing, one year as Aging Case Aide 1 (or two years in public contact), and a 8:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule with no telework option.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak Spanish; Spanish proficiency evaluated during probation.
• Experience with public contact in human services is acceptable.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office to create flyers, calendars, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Referral Processing: Review referrals, enter information, track status.
• Call Screening: Identify issues, gather details, direct to resources.
• Eligibility Support: Determine benefit eligibility and assist with forms.
• Consumer Guidance: Explain aging programs and help families decide.
• Documentation Management: Record case histories and outcomes.
• Community Engagement: Coordinate wellness events with partners.
