Job summary

Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (Bilingual – English & Mandarin) to join our Vancouver-based Finance Team. The role supports day-to-day accounting across international entities and will work fully remotely from Canada.

You’ll handle AP/AR, GL reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting, with exposure to multi-country operations. CPA candidates are encouraged, and the position offers full-time employment with competitive CAD compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting with intermediate responsibilities in corporate or multi-entity environments.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
• Solid understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and GL management.
• Hands-on with QuickBooks and familiarity with other financial management platforms.
• Experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Payroll processes, budgeting, and financial controls experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle financial data.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Based in Canada on permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AP and AR activities.
• Perform general ledger, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain records using QuickBooks and other platforms.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Support audits and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners and international entities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and controls.
• Maintain confidential records per regulations.
