The role supports day-to-day accounting operations across Canada, the United States, Chile, APAC, and Europe, with 100% remote work and full-time employment. The ideal candidate will handle AP/AR, GL reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting while collaborating with international partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in intermediate-level accounting responsibilities.
• AP/AR experience and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Bilingual English-Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day AP and AR accurately and timely.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant (Bilingual - English Mandarin) to join our Vancouver-based Finance Team.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of an international organization, working closely with management, internal accounting teams, external financial partners, and subsidiaries and related entities across Canada, the United States, Chile, Asia-Pacific (APAC), and Europe.

You will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance, supporting financial reporting, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Perform general ledger, bank, and balance sheet account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks and other financial management systems.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Contribute to budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning activities.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting responsibilities.
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with established accounting policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external financial partners, and international entities to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure consistent financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
