Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Papillion, NE is hiring a Bike Technician to provide a differentiated cycling customer experience. You will build and repair bicycles to established procedures and leverage product knowledge to recommend bikes and gear that meet the customer's needs.

You will also help maintain Bike Department presentation, promote warranty programs and loyalty benefits, and support the team with safe, efficient service across the store. Prior bike repair experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience building, repairing, and selling bicycles.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift 15–35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide passionate customer service and sell through customer engagement in the Bike Department.
• Uphold merchandise presentation standards.
• Build and repair bikes according to established procedures and assist with equipment assembly as needed.
• Promote warranties, loyalty programs and seasonal promotions.
• Support the team and adhere to safety and SOPs.
