Job summary

Bethany Children’s Health Center in Bethany, OK seeks a Bike & Pedestrian Safety Coordinator to engage statewide partners, represent injury prevention, and implement educational programs and events across Oklahoma to improve children’s health and safety.

The role supports OHSO initiatives, tracks milestones, conducts program activities with travel as needed, maintains records, and stays current on pediatric injury prevention topics.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support Oklahoma Highway Safety Office (OHSO) initiatives, ensuring Bike and Pedestrian Safety Program activities are effectively implemented and all program milestones and objectives are achieved.
  • Assist with management of the SKO Partner Pathway Program, including communication, resource distribution, tracking participation, and supporting development.
  • Maintain program records, assist with grant reporting, track data and evaluation efforts.
  • Stay current with technical information and issues related to pediatric injury prevention.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Bike & Pedestrian Safety Coordinator will engage statewide partners to represent the hospital’s injury prevention expertise and efforts throughout Oklahoma. This position will serve our community by implementing educational programs and events throughout the state to improve the health and safety of children in Oklahoma.DutyPercent of TimeCoordinate and support Oklahoma Highway Safety Office (OHSO) initiatives, ensuring Bike and Pedestrian Safety Program activities are effectively implemented and all program milestones and objectives are achieved.
