Job summary

DLS Engineering is seeking a System Administrator II (Big IP F5) for the Air Force Intranet Control program at Gunter Annex, Montgomery, Alabama. This on-site role supports network infrastructure, SSL, PKI, and F5 platforms to ensure mission readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience with Big IP F5, holds an Active Secret Clearance, and IAT-II certification, plus one of several F5 specialist certifications. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Big IP F5 products performing systems administration.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• IAT-II Certification (required).
• At least 1 of the following certifications: F5-CTS-LTM, F5-CTS-APM, or F5 BIG-IP Certified Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, monitor Big IP F5 appliances and analyze health of multiple instances.
• Manage application integration designs around authentication, session management, and routing.
• Install, patch, and document STIGs for Big IP F5 systems.
• Design load balancing strategies and manage SSL certificates.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting guides.
