Job Summary

This remote-capable position supports the deployment of BD and KM systems for DoD testing ranges and programs, supporting the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) Big Data and Knowledge Management Team.

• Deploy and integrate the Cloud Hybrid Edge-to-Enterprise Evaluation Test & Analysis Suite (CHEETAS) at multiple DoD ranges and labs.
• Serve as the primary interface for customers experiencing CHEETAS in their environments.
• Collaborate with system administrators and developers to resolve deployment issues.
• Deploy CHEETAS across diverse hardware and ecosystems, often in secure, internet-isolated DoD vaults.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate CHEETAS at multiple DoD sites.
• Work with technical teams to troubleshoot and document deployment processes.
• Manage deployment in various environments with different hardware and security requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Active U.S. government TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) and 10+ years of DoD experience.
• Experience with Hadoop, SQL Server Big Data Cluster, Kubernetes, Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat), Windows Server, VMWare.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in big data environments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Expertise in deploying and troubleshooting enterprise big data tools.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot under pressure, and document procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in government/defense labs.
• Experience with DoD acquisition programs and cybersecurity policies.
