Job summary

Bealls is seeking a data integration engineer to design, build, and support data flows moving transactional data between retail systems, cloud platforms, legacy apps, and custom solutions across 500+ stores. You will work with Product Owners and Agile teams to deliver Azure-based integration capabilities using ADF, Logic Apps, and SSIS, while troubleshooting production issues and improving reliability.

Qualifications

10+ years of database/integration development experience.
Experience with SSIS.
Experience building solutions in Azure environments.
Strong SQL experience.
Experience building and supporting integrations between enterprise applications.
Experience with ETL/ELT development.
Experience with API and system-to-system integrations.
Experience supporting production applications.
Positive AI mindset with hands-on use of tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies to improve productivity and development efficiency.
Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.

Responsibilities

You'll work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and Agile development teams to deliver new integration capabilities and enhancements using Azure technologies such as ADF, Logic Apps, and SSIS. The position involves troubleshooting production issues, monitoring integration performance, and driving continuous improvements to system reliability, scalability, and development processes. You'll collaborate with both local and offshore developers, contribute to technical discussions, and help ensure secure coding and SDLC best practices are followed. Bealls is also investing heavily in AI, so you'll be encouraged to leverage tools like Copilot and other AI solutions to improve development efficiency and productivity.

Compensation:

$115,000/yr to $130,000/yr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
