Qualifications

• 10+ years of Database, Integration, or ETL Development experience.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Logic Apps, and SSIS.
• Advanced SQL development experience.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise integrations.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise data integrations using ADF, Logic Apps, and SSIS.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes moving data across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Develop API and system-to-system integrations between enterprise apps.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

Job Description:

A leading retail organization is seeking a Senior Data Developer to design, build, and support data integrations that connect cloud platforms, enterprise applications, legacy systems, and retail technologies supporting over 500+ store locations.

This is a highly visible opportunity to join a team investing heavily in cloud transformation, data integration, automation, and AI-driven development practices. You'll work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and Agile development teams to deliver scalable integration solutions while helping drive modernization initiatives across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Logic Apps, and SSIS


• Building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes that move critical business data across cloud and on-premise systems


• Developing API and system-to-system integrations between enterprise applications


• Troubleshooting production issues, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions


• Collaborating with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and Agile development teams on new integration initiatives


• Working alongside both local and offshore development teams


• Leveraging AI-powered development tools such as Copilot and other AI solutions to improve efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed


• Supporting continuous improvements around scalability, reliability, security, and development best practices

Must-Have Experience:

• 10+ years of Database, Integration, or ETL Development experience


• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Logic Apps, and SSIS


• Advanced SQL development experience


• Experience building and supporting enterprise integrations


• Experience with ETL/ELT development


• Experience with APIs and system-to-system integrations


• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting complex issues

Nice to Have:

• Retail industry experience (off-price or apparel retail preferred)


• Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server integration experience


• REST and SOAP API experience


• Agile, SDLC, and DevOps experience


• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
