Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact for proposals across all sales territories.
- Act as Project Manager for the Bid and Proposal (B&P) team, from receipt of request to submission of compliant proposals.
- Manage bidding interfaces between departments including Sales, Engineering, PMO, Logistics, and sign-off authorities.
- Collaborate with sales and technical leads to translate specifications into effective proposals to win bids and increase revenue.
- Coordinate internal resources such as Product Management, Engineering, Technical Sales, Sales Operations, Contracts, and Legal.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, and communicate these requirements internally.
- Identify and mitigate risks within opportunities, working with stakeholders.
- Lead Customer Value Proposition workshops, Lessons Learned reviews, win strategies, solutioning workshops, and Gate Reviews.
- Work with the Pricing lead to develop financial models and secure management approval.
- Interface with Product Management and Engineering to incorporate new content related to products and features.
- Organize and track all requests and responses via company databases.
- Manage deadlines and customer requests efficiently.
- Attend meetings outside normal hours (~20%) to accommodate different time zones.
- Continuously improve the bid process by incorporating best practices and stakeholder education.
- Perform additional duties as needed to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience with domestic and international proposals in regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a technical field preferred.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including PMO, Estimating, Engineering, Financial, and Commercial disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of basic contract language.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Ability to interact positively with management and cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical procedures.

- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
